Now, I keep an open mind when going into movies. I know that there are some I like that others don't and vice versa. But OMG, I Spit on Your Grave Deja Vu was bad. PLOT Theother two (2:54, 2:58) say I Spit on Your Grave repeatedly and miscount the number of targets (as the poster does). The latter actually opens with presumably the early-'80s equivalent of a redband screen. The vintage marketing continues with three TV spots: one from 1978 calls the film Day of the Woman; the other two from 1980, I Spit on Your Grave; and all three run about thirty seconds each.

Its exhilarating. I can see it go either way. If the rape scenes weren't so graphic and the build up so drawn out I might agree that the shift to revenge is the dominant theme but as it is, it seems like the latter is more an excuse to indulge in the former. It could be perceived to be feminist or misogynistic.
